Definitely get that. When you look at what’s right in front of you, go back to basics, it seems so simple. We evolved this way. In recent times we tried to completely change our diet and are seeing the negative consequences of it.

In my mind it all clicks, I’m hoping to find more empirical evidence rather than anecdotal evidence of personal testimonials. That said, all these testimonials are very encouraging.

Now does it have to be red meat all the time? How about chicken and eggs some days? I like the idea of red meat but might have to make a compromise in the meantime, ya know?

Anecdotally, my improvements have come with eggs and cheese daily for brekky, fish oil pills when I'm not eating fish twice a week, mostly cow and lamb with occasional chicken or pork. Before carnivore I loved chicken and shunned most other meats but my tastes have changed to prefer reds. I'm also better and understanding what my body seems to need (not sure if that's the exercise or dietary changes) so I assume there's some better nutritional value in reds.

All animal products are totally fair game! Just gotta make sure you're getting plenty of fat, since that will be your new fuel source (vs. carbs). I personally haven't eaten chicken in months just because I feel so much more energetic on beef, since it's more fatty. But if you're throwing eggs & butter in there you should be fine, feel free to experiment!
