Same for youtube videos 🤦 on my timeline
What is the best client for long form? Can it be accessed via web browser?
I use https://habla.news/
Yes.
Are you using the same key for that or one unique to your long form content? I'm curious as to how clients are determining what to display where, especially if it comes from the same key. Is it a special type of note or something?
old habits are hard to break, but they will change. eventually.
Do you mean nostr:npub1yzvxlwp7wawed5vgefwfmugvumtp8c8t0etk3g8sky4n0ndvyxesnxrf8q for instance?
I'm not writing on Substack but I do like to read stuff posted there because those writers aren't on Nostr.
However, I also like that you can listen to Substack articles. I've seen this feature on Snort, as well, but I don't think Yakihonne or Habla or Highlighter do that.
I think writers probably like the subscription feature of Substack, whereby they can get paid for what they write. I like being able to follow writers and getting notified when they have put out something new.
Of course I don't like that it's a centralized company that can censor writers (though they say they won't) and has threatened weiters' monetization (in conjunction with Stripe) because they disapprove of their content (this has happened to Robert Malone on Substack).
While new features are great and I would love to see things that haven't been done before in apps, it would also be kinda nice if client apps could even simply just make a replica of existing centralized apps (like Substack or YouTube or Reddit, etc.) that are just as good as those technically, but with the added benefits of being decentralized, connected to your social graph, etc.
