Understood and agree. If the vigilante is wrong, throw him into our injustice system.

We have crime because the legal system is a cash cow.

When there is no question of guilt*, punishment must be swift, severe and public.

*Mental illness is not a defense.

My issue is this:

The current system is unjust, so it will Daniel Penny or Kyle Rittenhouse just vigilantes while excusing vigilantes that are on their side like antifa.

So I don’t see any circumstance where an unjust vigilante enters the “injustice” system, since unjust vigilantes are a CREATION of the injustice system. And the moment it is overthrown or reformed into a proper Justice system… then just unjust vigilantes begin getting labled for what they really are…

To further expand on this:

In a just system, people don’t engage in just vigilantism save for rhe purpose of immediacy, ie that the circumstance does not provide sufficient time to “wait for the proper authorities”. Under such circumstances, the actions of just vigilantes are labeled as either self defense or a citizen’s arrest.
