Need to throw out that Keurig and Nespresso machine.
That boiling water through aluminum and plastic is horrendous for your health
My brother gave me this mini coffee press. Now I think I have like six coffee making contraptions: A regular coffee pot, a French press, a pour over cone, a moka pot, a Keurig, and a Nspresso machine 😫
What's your contraption of choice to make your coffee? #asknostr https://video.nostr.build/8728ba2626d14fde5338cf64512d1085ad7b681b7ca8a3722c4fcfd6c6558e03.mp4

If this gets as much flack as my ‘ban pit bulls’ take I’m nuking my nostr
Lol, no it was more like you were telling your wife we need to throw something away in public and I was hoping she'd respond with something like "what about all your damn hammers, you dont need that many hammers"
You know what? You're so right! What about a regular coffee pot that uses a paper filter?
Should be fine. But even with that you want to try and inspect it if boiling water is coming in contact with plastic
The press, pour overs, or a boujie espresso machine like a Breville with some modifications are the non-toxic way to go
I swear I read somewhere recently that coffee presses aren't good but I don't remember why
Just depends on the materials. One that’s all glass and metal for the most part is excellent
Okay I'm just reading that metal filters don't remove all of the "cafestol" and kahweol" like a paper filter would. I think I'm going to stick to our regular coffee pot in the morning and the pour over in the afternoon. I'm going to list the Nespresso on Marketplace and pass it on to some other fool! 🤣
it raises your ldl cholesterol.
if your mitochondrial system is lagging and you aren’t getting enough UVb to convert to vitD, it can start to clog the system. usually starting in the liver.
