once met one of my favorite bitcoin podcasters nostr:npub1art8cs66ffvnqns5zs5qa9fwlctmusj5lj38j94lv0ulw0j54wjqhpm0w5 in real life and introduced myself. when he started to speak at 1.0x to me, I thought something is wrong with him.

SPEED, MORE IMPORTANT THAN UNDERSTANDING, IS IT? HMMM?

I subscribe to Adam Curry's theory that listening to podcasts at more than 1.0x speed makes you more easily annoyed when speaking to (random) persons IRL.

Still listening podcasts at 1.2x though. GFY IRL

If I listen to anything at less than 1.5 speed, I have to check to make sure I didn’t put it on 0.5

There is a guy (won't name him, he's a lightning guru) whom I have to slow **down** to 0.8x to be able to follow... Incredible how coherent and clearly he can talk so fast...

It's also funny how the others in the conversation sound at that slowed-down speed :D

he overclocked his brain and his hair style doubles as a heat sink. It's crazy tech

Welcome to my life 😂
