What’s the most appropriate way of muting people?

A. Simply mute them

B. Get the last word in, tell them they are going to be muted and then mute them

C. Tell them you’re going to mute them, but don’t even bother spending the energy to hit mute

I think there is no wrong way ... and for me it depends on the situation

if they're in my replies consistently being annoying i will let them know ... otherwise i just quietly mute or unfollow

I feel like one can craft a definite “wrong way” to mute. 😄 I think C is close to that.
