I have not played around with GPT. For this I think it would be useful for the initial research phase if you don't know much on the subject. I may also use it for coming up with an outline but not for the actual writing. Writing that I have seen from LLMs has been terrible, it should get better though.

Years ago in school, I would use Wikipedia for initial research. I would quickly scan the page, then go to the resources links. I imagine GPT would be a better way to go
