I could never watch more than 2 minutes of that show, even as a kid. To try to guess the stupidity of the average person is repulsive. I suspect it was successful for so many years for reasons we don't want to admit.
I think it is important that one bases the opinions on something one understands. It does not really matter how many are thinking equally or different. I do not see how this could be of any importance...
