So does it make sense to remove nostr.fmt.wiz.biz as a relay because no matter how many times I block reply guy from that relay it keeps showing up. Will removing relays like this help?

Lmao foiled again
The bots are on all publicly accessible/open relays, as far as I can tell. You need paid and/or web of trust relays.
You can take my WoT relay for a spin, since I follow you.

Thanks, I think I have some paid relays, but I can't remember which ones are which anymore. I get updates from a couple to renew things once in a while.
Honestly managing relays is still kind of a nightmare. And it has changed a lot on Amethyst so it's hard to know if what I am doing is helping or hurting.
I highly recommend filter.nostr.wine for paid relay.
You can read up on how it works here: https://docs.nostr.wine/filter/readme
Might as well be reading in Greek. I understand none of it.
Think of it this way, it is a relay that pulls in relevant notes from several major public relays, but filters out most spam. Additionally, when you post to the relay, it automatically rebroadcasts your notes to several other relays.
By default it will only pullnin notes from your follows and their follows, but you can also view all users notes (minus spam) in the global feed if you want.
IIRC when I was using it previously all Amethyst ever showed were errors & no data transfer at all, so I dropped it.
Haven't noticed too much of that. Occasionally it won't load notes of folks outside my WoT, but only very occasionally and I suspect it may be better about showing me notes because I have global=all turned on.
It is still cumbersome, absolutely.
