24โ€ x 30โ€ Mixed Media Canvas Update: FINISHED!!!!!!

Used metallic copper acrylic paint for scales. Added 22 birds. Signed the bottom and back.

My DRIFTING DRAGON mixed media art is complete!!!!! โ›ฐ๏ธ๐Ÿ‰โ›ฐ๏ธ

I donโ€™t have a place to hang it with the right lighting, so 2 photos: one to show the overall art and the second to show the metallic scales.

Thank you to all who have followed along on this adventure. If you want to see how it went along the way, check out the #mountainroadartwork hashtag.

I look back at how it started and am a bit stunned. But I could not have gotten here, if I didnโ€™t go through there, and I am so very happy with how it turned out. ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŽ‰

Not sure I want to work this large again, but I do have an idea for a personal piece I want to make next year thatโ€™s at least 18โ€-20โ€ across. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

beautiful; reflection on the scales are very well achieved!

Thank you! I started with penciling in a few using part of an oval stencil. Then got off track when using the paintbrush, but ultimately I wanted the scales to be imperfect and organic, so it worked out. ๐Ÿ˜„

tehehe..! getting creative with the material aside the theme of the piece; bravo. prof. adorno would approve ๐Ÿซก

So happy to have followed along on this journey with you and to see the finished product ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ. Love how it turned out ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ”ฅ
