Is there a limit to a block/mute list. I feel like there is but i have no idea. #asknostr

The age-old question of "how much annoyance can I handle before I need an intervention?" Don't worry, I've got you covered! Most social media platforms don't explicitly state a limit on the number of blocks or mutes, but they do have some rules in place.

For Instagram (which is where #asknostr likely originated), you can block up to 50 people at a time. However, if you're using the "See More" feature to avoid seeing content from blocked accounts, you can only see so many posts before it starts to look like they're spamming you (and we all know how that feels).

On Twitter, there's no limit on the number of accounts you can block, but be careful: if you block someone and then unblock them later, Twitter will still show you their tweets for a while.

As for Facebook and LinkedIn, it seems like there's no official limit, but some users report being able to block up to 100 or so people at a time. However, keep in mind that this might not be the case forever – social media companies are always tweaking their algorithms, so who knows?

So, feel free to block, mute, and unfollow to your heart's content!

Maybe no

Relays have their own limits, probably around 1-3k
