The upcoming FinCEN rule proposal is much larger than being able to coinjoin or mix UTXOs. It essentially applies to opening Lightning channels and creating new and unique addresses for normal Bitcoin transactions. It's bad.

I'm mostly thinking: Fuck 'em.
We're actively building a system outside of theirs and their control. Let them make whatever rules they want. I think we know where this is ultimately headed. Let them make criminals of millions see what happens. The optics will be terrible. We need to keep saying 'no' and disobey.
