Just a timelock with a counter and some space for a hash. Let's you lock your coins so that only 51% of the hashrate can move them. Just like liquid but instead of exchanges, coins arw custodied by miners.

Yep, there's no such thing as unattended consequences. Bitcoin being hard to change is a bug we should fix that.

We want bitcoin to be hard to change but also flexible.
Another way to do this without drivechains would be simplicity. Yet another would be a general zkp verifier. They all have tradeoffs but they will all improve bitcoin.
