I see what you mean.

I interpret woke as being politically correct. Modern context examples imo, transgender, equality, pronouns, identifying as, etc.

I do agree with some of these principles, but how they go about it doesn't work. Eg. Equality, increasing number of women into certain job roles just to get the numbers up or men into women's roles. You just end up getting poor calibre of people doing jobs. I do believe that women can perform equally as well if not better in some roles which are dominated by men. But forcing it, won't work.

Transgender stuff the whole thing seems absurd. If a guy wants to act feminine and dress up as woman or woman wants to dress manly, thats fair enough. If you do this people will look at you weirdly. Because that's how people are. Very judgemental. To go as far as mess with your biology with hormones, drugs, chemicals, medical procedures. thats just a form of mutilation. Most medicines imo are also unsafe stay away.

See I think both sides of this debate aren't really viewing the future clearly.

It seems fairly obvious people will be able to genetically engineer their kids before 50 years is up.

Blue eyed white people will be able to have black kids with brown eyes. And we'll have to deal with that reality.

More worryingly it will be possible to edit people's genes to such an extent as to make DNA forensics impossible.

Many people think this will never happen, in much the same way people in the 50s thought the idea of the science fikction story OBIT was ludicrous.

In the same way people in my youth in the 70s would have laughed at the idea people would prefer communicating with distant people rather than those sitting beside them.

Over my many decades, I've observed that people always do what they can as soon as they can do it.

Bitcoin may well protect us from inflation but it won't protect us from a population collapse or the technological simguarlity.

There's no such thing as future proofing.
