Unpopular opinion. If Cloudflare went down, it would actually be okay. People would log into their DNS provider and switch back the name servers. Then people online would scream "WE TOLD YOU SO!!!", even though in actuality we'd be over it with half a day of downtime at most.
I think preventing that is the sole purpose of Cloudflare Workers 😂

As long as you avoid CF specific interfaces, you can use Deno to self-host worker scripts. And libraries like Hono are designed to work in either context.
Oh for sure. But the CF specific interfaces is where they try to trap you.
