Heart attack moment - older old mate just dropped a kettle of boiling water on her feet 😮 quick reactions though, within 2 seconds I had a towel there and helped her dry them off and dried the floor so she could go and bath her feet in cold water...but feck...that shook me up...gotta be so careful...

Hope she's OK 👍

Hoping so, just told her if she needs to get it looked at at the hospital tonight to wake me up and I'll go and sit with her - she's old school though, so she'll deal with it as much as she can do herself - think it gave me more of a fright tbh 😆

Some people are built tough like that, sometimes to their own detriment.

My Nana once jammed her fingers in the car door on a drive, didn't tell anyone until we got into town because she didn't want to bother anyone. Went the whole journey with them stuck in there, didn't show any pain.

fuck

She was a tough Tasmanian hillbilly, would pick up hot coals that rolled out of the fire with her bare hand and throw them back.

Taz seems so cool to me.

I toured as much as google earth would let me. Not sure why i feel a draw to it but I do.

It is definitely a unique place, I love it there, it's worth a visit spring or summer.

Wineglass Bay, from our last visit, epic.

Yeah, that looks kinda lush tbh...my only concern with Aus is the way literally everything wants to kill you 😆

It's more of it can, but avoids it 😂. Tasmania is unique in that it's very cold, but all the snakes are deadly.

The rainforests there are spectacular, great beaches all over the island, lovely place.

It is a valid concern 😆

Glad she is alright 👍
