This is correct, but certain parts of the world haven't figured this out yet. Also the political landscape might require alternative PoW protocols to secure privacy. In Japan cash still works for privacy, but I would never save in cash or a shitcoin. And yes I have been criticized for my SoV standpoint, but that is bitcoin for me until I can use it as a UoA.
