I have changed my mind many times. But i do think that Bitcoin should focus on being the best money we have, innovation and other uses cases should be dealt with shitcoins. We canβt incentivize people to adopt Bitcoin and then increase the risks of rugpulling them just for the sake of a political idea while breaking BTC as good money and good store of value.
I feel you there. It does sound cool to build on Bitcoin and make CTV etc, but the possible attack vectors getting opened up are not worth it, especially at the moment. There's plenty of places for these shitcoiners to go build, I wish they would go there.
The Core Devs are smart, so I am still not sure if this is their real aim to get more competition with them/test how Noderunners react. The only thing arguing against that is some of their incentives and alignment with shitcoiners/wall street. Time will tell.
