Apple is much more than a group of individuals. They are a country, government, and central bank all packaged as a company.

Also, mobile access to the internet and apps has become a duopoly. Changing one for the other does very little to benefit the user so they won’t. Or if they do, impact is minimal and easily course corrected by the provider. IMO.
I agree that they hold the same amount of power as what you have said, but isn’t a country a group of individuals making choices and behaving in a way which sets the foundation for the policies of the country?
You can’t change a country by yelling at the offices of the overseers, you have to change the behaviours and attitudes of the individuals so that they make choices and behave in such a way as to take power back from those in the “offices”.
On paper your statement is true. In reality it is very far from the truth. IMO
Apple is just a little reality hitting us in the face. Our own governments do it much more slowly, quietly and confusingly.
Like Satoshi did with BTC, build a better solution outside the current system or pay the price.
