When I worked in corporate life, I had to deal with a lot of horrible office terms, like “Let’s circle back,” and “I want to double click on that.” One of the worst ones was when people used the word “cadence,” a musical term to describe mundane shit like weekly meetings. I’m not sure why that one word in particular got under my skin so much, but it’s probably because it reminded me that I was going to have to talk to the same annoying people on a predictable schedule.

Anyway, I love my job now.

GN. For me is “Let’s align on that”. Meaning let’s have a meeting where we are going to talk about something disagree and no outcome or actions will come out of it x)

I have a difficult low-paying job. I don’t mind it now because it puts food on the table and sats in the wallet. #Bitcoin is hope.

How about when someone describes a particular skill or aptitude as “being in their wheelhouse”? I love that little gem. Lol.

Of course. 😆
