I would say the difficulty in usage issue too but the solutions are hindered by problem 1, and have been "technically" "fixed" by "lightning".

The reality is Bitcoin is both a Digital Cash System, and a Data Mechanism.
While I'm not a fan of storing Ordinals, NFTs, etc. on The Blockchain but it is capable of doing so.
On the flipside additional data or information might be necessary for complex financial transactions executed on The Bitcoin protocol.
The real solution is run a cash blockchain or layer, and a data blockchain, or layer.

Knots has about ~20% of the user base of Bitcoin, it is better to keep the hashing power in "Bitcoin" "core" rather than cause a hard fork where we lose hashing power.
Less PoW happening on Bitcoin makes it more vulnerable to block reorganizations, and 51% attacks.
