Good morning.

I'm currently camped on top of a ridge at 7000 ft in the backcountry of New Mexico, scouting for elk.

Two days of driving to get to our hunting area. Then we started or trip with a night hike under the Northern lights, climbed a rocky, washed out road to the top of the ridge and set up camp for the night.

Today we will glass this area for elk and decide if we want to stay here or scout elsewhere.

I will be off grid for most of the trip, but since I have phone signal on this ridge, I thought a #gm post was in order.

Don't get too caught up in all the craziness and online drama. Go play outside.
