When you lose weight by burning fat, where does the fat go? How does it get out? Most people think we sweat it out, but no: we **breathe** it out.

Your body uses carbohydrates for energy, and when you dont eat enough, your body burns fat. Fat is stored as triglycerides, which are made of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen and metabolized into carbon dioxide and water. When you lose 1kg of weight, you literally breathed out 840g of weight as CO2. The remaining 160g turns into H2O and is peed out.

People always ask me why I’m hyperventilating and I don’t know why I always have to explain to them that I’m trying to lose weight. 😂

Are you telling me that all the obese people are good for the climate, as they are a natural storage of CO2?

🤣🤣🤣

You get it, you give it 😊

Interesting...

Let me hyperventilate more 😄

where did you learn this?

I thought about this a lot, too. What if we could make a device that does dialysis in a way that can bypass burning carbs? Hook it up to the bladder and pump sugar out of the blood stream into the urine. Your body could lose weight without the exercise 🎉

Probably that would mess with your body in other ways though.

Back when I was a chemistry teacher, this was one of my favorites.

Also the reason why I barely drink water btw.

Why you don't drink water? 👀

Water is the mother of all rabbit holes.

TLDR: Most of the water I need is created in my body by the process Vitor described, 100% pure H2O, without fluoride, microplastics and the like. Free distillation ftw.

There's only two types of water I do consume.

1. Structured water:

The more structured the water (a gel-like state caused by water's unique molecular shape),the more your cells can act like little batteries, the better your blood flows and a bunch more healthy stuff. (See the work of Gerard Pollack etc)

This water can be created by complicated processes or you can just eat actual cells or blood (fruit, steak, ...)

2. Salted, filtered water:

Consuming water without minerals just leaches minerals. So when I'm invited somewhere I drink sparkling water and add seasalt.

Wow, pretty rabbitholistic, i need to dig more in to it. During a period of time one familiar person was drinking sea water reduced with tap water, for improve her blood circulation, i taste a couple of times but ahead of that I didn't do any more taste

You don't need to know a lot of chemistry to ser that the info GPT4 gave you is wrong. 1 kg of fat can't possibly become 2.8 kg of CO2 and 1.6 kg of water, for a total of 4.4 kg.

Yo no sé nada se química ⚗️ 🤷🏻

We use up resources.

so losing weight is bad for the climate huh ?

LOL JK

i don't know about "most" people but there are certainly such retards ...

Hmmmmmm, if i breath faster will i lose more weight?

You will blow out your excess CO2 more quickly, while hyperoxygenating. You can then hold your breath a little longer until your CO2 builds back up and eventually triggers your reflex to breathe.

Ts, i thought some revolutionary weight loss program... 🤣🤣🤣

GM.

Things I needed to know before rowing without breakfast…

They call energy metabolism “cellular respiration”

Did you know that the human head weighs eight pounds?

Bit of an oversimplification because you're also breathing/peeing out ketones as well as wasting heat. There are many things happening.

is this why people under a lot of stress gain weight?

And the H20 generated through the respiration process of metabolism and expelled through exhalation.

Makes sense

Great info Vitor GM 🫡

Interesting, I didn’t know that

1 month curing 95% of carbs I’ve resized my body 🤓

Checks out. When I started losing weight I had to pee a lot.

Morning 🙃🫁💨

Reading that book at the moment

I need kind of this note more, stay healthy guys

Climate alarmist:

Losing weight is killing the environment. Keep your CO2 in your body by staying fat otherwise you’re a climate denier!!

fight global warming

get fat

IMHO metabolizing fat is THE DEFAULT state.

Carbohydrate uptake in nature would be seasonal (think ripe fruits) and a great way to fatten up before winter.
