Mine is in the basement. We hardly go down there. Was thinking about putting them somewhere on display in the living room though

Makes sense! It’s not actually that loud, just a whisper/hum/purring sound usually, but sometimes gets a bit more active. Maybe next apartment it’ll be easier to run lol
