I bought a mycelium inoculated kit bag from my local mushroom farmer.

I let it sit in a cool dark place for another month to let the mycelium in the bag grow more.

Over the years previously I had obtained a dozen or so trucking loads of wood chips from my arborist job. Was just filling in my land and levelling off around my gardens. So I had already an abundance of rotting wood around.

I simply broke open the grow kit I purchased and broke it up into 4 chunks and spread it in amongst different spots i knew were heavily mulched from years ago.

The mycelium network will thrive as long as it has a food source (rotting wood).
