I have worked out how to get into highlighter using Alby browser extension but am clueless on how to get the embedded primal.net wallet to be used by either Alby or highlighter... thanks for all you do ...

We'll do a video tutorial on this soon, but yes - you are already on the right track. To create long form notes you should use a specialized client like Highlighter.com or Habla.news. Once you post your article using either of those apps, it should appear in Primal's reads feed. Wallet integration is not required for this. Note that Primal wallet is not available on the web yet (just in our mobile apps). Working on it tho.
