The more general the computation, the less effective + efficient at a particular task.

There's a reason we don't all use a swiss army knife for every single project, but use a plethora of specialized tools.

Some agi could use humans for specific computations aswell. The paradigm of thinking about agi as being a tool is sort of "racist". "We don't send a plumber to operate on a brain", is more accurate.
