Lol šŸ˜‚ It’s good to have as another backup. Primal wallet has been very reliable so no need to change it right now. What I wish is that we could define a primary and secondary lightning address in our nostr profiles, and then if someone tries to zap you and the primary fails it would automatically try the secondary. I haven’t used a wallet yet that didn’t go down at some point, and missing zaps when that happens sucks.

I like nostr:npub1cm3rpgj7457yjuqnvdalxaauakqu0ndkpkyp5cldkyutpz4xszpsmk96wt because it's "self custodial" using Spark, so between Primal that is custodial and Blitz that is self custodial, I would choose Blitz.

I agree about be able to add two lightning address on Nostr profiles. Would be great.

Custodial wallets have the lowest fees and with the tiny amounts people zap on nostr, that is ideal. I just tried sending myself 100 sats from my Primal wallet to my Blitz lightning address. 2 sats fee on the sending side isn’t terrible. But then out of the 100 sats received by Blitz, only 36 sats were credited to my balance. I assume this is because of the swap fees due to the ā€œnon-custodialā€ design, which is explainable but it is also unacceptable economically as the recipient since most zaps are even smaller than 100 sats. Is there a solution to this besides just using a custodial wallet?

This doesn't make sense, you should have received 100 sats on nostr:npub1cm3rpgj7457yjuqnvdalxaauakqu0ndkpkyp5cldkyutpz4xszpsmk96wt. Did you try to restart Blitz?

Maybe the total balance didn't update yet.

This was a fresh wallet with zero balance so any change in the balance came from this transaction. Any idea why it only showed 36 at first, and then changed to 100?

Probably a minor bug. I reported to the dev here, so he can fix it: https://github.com/BlitzWallet/BlitzWallet/issues/397

Restarting changed it. Weird

Yes, probably a minor bug that do not updated the total balance until restart. Will report to the devs. Thanks.

Cool 🫔

Before using Blitz, or "self-custodial" wallet of satoshi, or any Breez wallet, please education yourself on this person: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_A._Marcus

This person has full control of your balances, sees all your internet traffic, everything -- the "self-custodial" thing is very misleading marketing and isn't really intended for end users, it's more so these companies can go to government/regulators and say "look, we don't custody funds!"

In reality anything using Spark's API like these wallets is super-dangerous.....

Rizful wallet is that is great, he can see all your transactions and even steal all your money, haha

But, don't be influenced by anyone, research and try yourself if you think make sense to you or not. I think Spark great.
