Nostr needs more content creators in general from bloggers to musicians to streamers. The audience is already here what we need is more diverse content appealing to a broader spectrum of users and their likes / prefernces.

For example, I stream gaming and I totally get it that my content isn't for everyone. It's for gamers and people who like to watch streams, chat and hang out with each other. Now, if someone comes into my stream but my content isn't for that person they'll naturally bounce from my channel and then... don't find much other content to watch so they bounce from the site entirely.

In other words, the discoverability is there, the demand is there, the creators aren't.

The best way to grow nostr IMO is to create a culture that enables commerce with zaps as much as possible.

Zaps are so unique and will pique the interests of others since most market dynamics are driven by envy rather than greed. We would ultimately get a product-marketing of nostr creators who are free from advertiser priorities, the like/view button performance and theatrics, as well as the machines that silo their data and following.

The stuff that comes after, like the privacy and the other feature sets of nostr will secure staying power and develop a moat. This moat is the thing that influences competitive social platforms like X or possibly even Threads.

I myself will be subscribing to this thought process once I get some financial outcomes in order. I'm looking forward to investing in the growth of nostr creators.
