I, too, feel much the same as you. Church has become a political machine and lost its mandate. Yet, I still weep at Amazing Grace. I believed then, I believe now. The last two times I was singing at church I burst into laughter; my mind can’t process the hypocrisy I see from many so-called Christians. Xtians they have become to me. And I believe if Christ walked through the doors of the church today, that they would crucify him.
