Which are generally high in calories. It’s the palatability that drives the over consumption.

The fattest kings of history were nowhere near obese and it's not because twinkies are more palatable.

100% it is.

Go and try and over eat any whole food to the point of weight gain for a sustained period. Not going to happen.
