DMs are annoying. Not having them is the advantage. Nostr clients should follow suit.

The option to turn them off seems like a good measure for anyone who doesn't like them.

I never found DMs very useful on Twitter, but I know a lot of people who have.

Now the only way to invite someone to speak on a podcast (for example) is a public post.
