I am not inclined to disagree.
We need signing devices in case the extension shits the bed. Way too many eggs in one basket.
I keep very few eggs in that particular basket and I think most people do the same.
Phoenix is my Bitcoin checking account, and Coldcard is my Bitcoin savings account.
I mean all the people using the extension to sign notes. If that stops working people will be back to putting their nsec in every hole in town.
I can only hope people pulled back the balances after WOS leaving the app store and Alby going invite-only.
Oh yes it's quite convenient for storing an nsec. I'd like to have a USB device I can just keep on my keychain. Something the size of an Opendime with a little button on it.
Yubikey would be perfect if the apps could use it.
