I did this in my 30s and retired by 40.

Small edit: spend your youth (20s) traveling the world. There’s always time to work later on but you can’t go back and do all the things you wished you would have done when you were younger.

Travel, especially when young, gives you fuller view of the world and sets you up for success like nothing else can.

I didn't get to travel much, in my 20s, but I have lived and worked in two different countries than my home country.

I think that was enough to give me that perspective.
