My dog hurt her leg last night, her good leg. She previously tore her CCL, the canine equivalent to the ACL, in her right leg. Last night she hurt her left leg and is limping. Iโm hoping itโs just a sprain because she hasnโt yelped like she did when she tore her CCL. If anyone wants to send Navi positive thoughts or prayers for healing Iโd appreciate it.

Will pray. Get some glucosomine chondrotin, grind it up and add to her food & see what happens after 3-4days. Neighbors dog awhile back began walking on all fours after 3 days when before it was limping on 3 for months post-accident.

So sorry ๐ข Our dog recently tore his as well and we are so afraid of the same thing happening because he thinks he's still a youngblood haha and jumps off and on things all the time still. We are so afraid he will wnd up hurting his "good leg" because he is favoring it so much. Keep us posted on how things turn out!
Iโm so sorry to hear about your doggo! Itโs been 4 years since she tore her right CCL. I originally was going to get her surgery. It ended up being delayed because of the pandemic and covid restrictions. When it was available again she was doing so well running and jumping around. I chose to continue with conservative management. Got her some more dasuquin chews today. Theyโve been helpful in the past.
