Can you send an email to support@getalby.com with the link to the funding transaction? 🙏

I can do that this PM. Here is the tx ID I've shared in this thread. As you can see 150k sats were sent on-chain from my wallet to the hub's wallet: 61e827f73a9fb03ab12edce3a6a3c0399dea4bb33d8a6fbe18a582b401f0c8f6

Here the funding transaction for the zapstream channel. Channel fee 1,590 sats

The remaining balance in the on-chain funding address is 8,002 sats (which, I just noticed yesterday, doesn't even have a withdraw option).

Go to "Node" --> "Advanced" --> "Withdraw Savings Balance"

Do you have other channels that you've opened before with your on-chain balance?

No

Illtsend you an email about this later. As it stands right now depositing 150k sats and opening a 100k Channel to zapstream cost me 42,000 sats.

The paid fees are visible in the blockchain explorer. There are no additional fees charged.

I expect that you opened anchor channels which require a reserve to leave room for bumping the fee of the closing transaction. The reserve is not part of the onchain/ savings balance.

I will take this to email so I can take those transactions apart and attach screenshots. I literally said 10x in this thread that I DID NOT open an channel and that there was already 15k sats missing from the on-chain transaction when it was received by the Hub though there is no indication as per why that would be the case. The FULL 150,000 sats was received by the hub's wallet. Also, opening the channel to zapstream was very cheap.

So I would like to know where and how I ended up with a 42k expense or 30% of the total amount.

Sounds good. Waiting for your email. A screenshot of the Node page would be helpful, too. 🙏

sry work and rl got in the way. you'll have it by the weekend. I want to take some time to explain this properly since it appears that my note has been widely misunderstood by folks.

Take your time. But I am eager to find out what's actually happening as you say.
