“This is a very common pitfall in the Bitcoin community, is that you over-accumulate... Over-accumulation generally leads to LESS Bitcoin that people have in their pockets rather than more Bitcoin."

selling is not an option

Thanks Walker- I enjoyed this podcast immensely. Morgen is a great reminder of how bitcoin can support a happy, healthy and fulfilling life.

Is this a common issue? I was under the impression that, even among bitcoin maxis, it wasn’t. Degenerate gamblers notwithstanding.

If you’re buying so much that you have no immediate liquidity to pay for basic needs or the ability to cover a sudden emergency, then, yes, you’re overextending yourself into Bitcoin and exposing yourself to have to sell at inopportune times. This feels obvious so it’s odd to see it addressed. Perhaps I’m wrong and there are swathes of people just slamming every last cent into BTC, though. 🤷🏻‍♂️
