I run several of my own nodes, and can cross reference balances across my own instances of Mempool.space.
My own personal philosophy is that the more the wallet looks like a spreadsheet the better it works for economic utility.
One thing you might notice about all of the wallets I choose is that they are all bare bones and don't have dozens of "features" that have to be init checked with every action.
