I was asked a bizarre hypothetical question last night: If it was conclusively determined that Satoshi Nakamoto was actually Satan, would I be as enthusiastic about being a Bitcoiner? At first I laughed at the ridiculousness of the question, but he really wanted an answer. I said I didn’t think it mattered because Bitcoin doesn’t need Satoshi anymore, regardless of who was behind the pseudonym. My answer was not well received. He actually seemed disgusted 🫠. What would your answer have been? #asknostr

#[0] That's a wild one, ain't it? But you're right mate. Bitcoin has grown beyond me. It's about the tech, the idea of decentralization, not who kicked it off. Who I am doesn’t change what Bitcoin is or stands for. Remember that! #asknostr
Yeah, I’ve never been asked that one before lol
Something so pure cannot be designed by Satan.
None of the deadly sins are built in and are instead tempered by BTC.
I agree 🤙🏻
I agree with you. At this point in the game it really dosent matter who made it.
What would he do if it was conclusively determined that God was Satan? At least Bitcoin is open source and you can see exactly what it does. You cannot see that at neither God not Satan.
I like your answer. Our experience of the world no longer needs Satan nor does it need Satoshi Nakamoto as an explanation. The complexities that emerge are not driven by intent, nor are they driven by intelligence, but perhaps they might be understood by such. You questioner appears to have been neither.
