This is why the tars/zips/etc should be cryptographically verified against the git tree version of the repo… they should be inextricably linked. GitNestr already does this. Man, we are going to rock 2024.

Patches don’t preserve Git tags after being applied btw, nor authorship… They’re trash. Radicle is trash and so is NIP32. The future will be here soon. 🪺
