Life has been at war for close to 4 billion years. The difference between humans and the rest of the animals is that other animals settle disputes using physical power the moment they arise. Humans on the other hand attempt and fail to put off using physical power to settle disputes as we try to use other dysfunctional methods of settling our disputes until finally things boil over and we engage in massive scale physical power competition.

Bitcoin is war as a first resort. People just don't recognize it that way because it's non-lethal. It's the same function in a different form.
