Replying to nOSStr

Openlibrary FTW. I'm wondering if creating everything from the scratch is the way to go? Foranyy idea out there, not just this one.

This! I think the way to go is to tap into OpenLibrary's open dataset and add "social" features on top using nostr. Activity about a book/author can tag OpenLibrary's ID so other clients can look up what the events are about. Or we could even publish OpenLibrary's data to nostr.

I feel there's a few things like this I would just want to keep as is and the existing community. Eg the amazing Freesound, librivox, archivedotorg etc... adding a nostr social/donate function to it would be great and would make total sense
