Their iron dome defense system was great for advancing our missle defense systems. We own the intellectual property and got to test and refine right there in Israel. They also do a lot of our artificial intelligence work. They share a bunch of their middle east intelligence with American military.

Personally I think Israel is a more strategic location than Ukraine for American Power. It's valuable. How valuable is debatable. It's like Taiwan. Both are great places for America to launch attacks if needed.

We paid for all that. We could have designed and tested such systems in the USA for less money and it would have employed Americans.

What's the Israeli LLM called? Why do they have to use Bing to make fake burned baby images if they have rolled their own world class AI?

Creating a test environment as good as Israel would be super expensive. Easier to just test it in the wild where real missiles are being shot.
