Of course this is said in light mood, but it's so fucking Anglo that it makes me tear up.

A couple of days ago my friend from school that I hadn't seen for a couple of years visited, and when he arrived we embraced for a fee seconds and kissed (on the cheek) twice. As we do among family members, male and female, and other close friends without make any drama out of it or doubting our sexual orientation for doing it... nostr:note14qz7m3umz656xgpyyjkmagx4xe4yedjjnskt03daxxtlel66rxus2hy454

In my life hugging, kissing and even handshaking were alien and kind of dead air. Handshaking with Indian friends seemed obligatory though. Seeing Europeans doing all these conventions has always been intriguing.

On the other hand, every time I hear American parents/children telling each other "I love you", it creeps the fuck out of me (and most, if not all, people I know in my home country).
