Honestly, this is a pretty unique event:

>The storm could potentially be the first tropical system on record to strike Nevada.

It goes without saying that there is a lot of rain and potential flooding throughout these areas.

One would imagine that the long-term drought issues facing these areas could at least be temporarily ameliorated.
