How much do you get per day from Fountain? From an initial look it seems like a max of 1-2 pennies per day. Doesn't seem worth it.

Average 50-100 Sats for an hour . Think in number of Sats not fiat and keep going ✊🌽🎧

So if I use this app every single day for a year I might receive about 27,000 sats, which is about the same purchasing power as $8 according to a quick exchange check.

There are also ads and sponsored content which get you sats. I think your numbers are a bit low.

Dont think in fiat money. Think in sats. If you’re listening to podcasts anyway, why not earn sats doing it? Its a good app too. Working well for me.

Also you should add a lightning address to your profile so you can get zapped here! Download a wallet like Wallet of Satoshi and add your lightning address to your profile in settings here. ⚡️#zap

I get the "why not get free money?" argument, but there are other things to consider like whether I trust the app isn't stalking my personal data, feeding me ads, or if it's just less enjoyable to interface my podcasts.

Definitely. Im a privacy freak. With some ways to earn sats I choose to give up a bit of privacy because im being paid to do so.
