ridiculous that there is an emergency fund for food stamps, but not for air traffic controllers...I wouldn't say its become unsafe, but the margin of safety has noticeably decreased - I've noticed more errors made by controllers than ever, no doubt some are under stress from the hardship.

Don't get me wrong, I want the government shutdown to go another year, jusy pay the controllers instead of the useless eaters.
