"A man has no right to sex with his wife."

How many paychecks can a man not make before a woman will distance herself to reestablish a foothold in the world?

How many times can a woman deny sex before a man channels his sexual energy outside of the marriage (by porn or with a stranger)?

Marriages have roles and duties.

Forcing a person to have sex or shaming or punishing them for not wanting to have sex, even in marriage is considered rape, sexual or family violence.

Yeah the whole thing is nuts, giving control of your life and choices to someone else forever.

Only way it could work is if you knew you could control your spouse and do what you wanted. And if you're the kind of person to do that you are nuts anyway.

Paychecks in exchange for sex? How is this different from prostitution?

Cue every useless trophy wife: "SO offensive!"

(Often it isn't different, other than a theoretical commitment to monogamy)

1. Vows to eachother and God.

2. Prostitution is sex minus life. Relationships are life and sex. Cuckoldship is paychecks for nothing.

When I say life, I mostly mean the journey of establishing a household together and filling it with children that must be raised together.

I understand your argument. I still think it's excessively reductive. There's way more to even the sexual dimension of a marriage than just this tit-for-tat ethos you've outlined.

Sex is the mutual gift of self, in both directions. It's not the wife giving herself up for her husband to take. It's the husband giving himself wholly and unreservedly, and the wife receiving that and giving herself wholly and unreservedly back to him.

There's a sense in which that dynamic is an echo of our relationship with God, but that's a whole different conversation.

Is celebacy a big part of marriage in your world?

No. But I see it’s a bit part of marriage is yours otherwise you wouldn’t be complaining.

Not at all.

Forcing a man to provide for his household is... What, unfair? You see how retarded it is to try and undermine our gender roles like that?

I’m sorry this is the world we live in, it should be.

This is sad and dark view of marriage.

Feminism Against Progress is a feminist cry for traditional marriage.

She makes quite a few good points, and pisses off her colleagues.

But no way in Hades would I want a traditional marriage! Its a terrible deal for men.
