“If you have people working for you, you must take from them more in cash value than you pay them in wages; but you can so organize your business that it will be filled with the principle of advancement, and so that each employee who wishes to do so may advance a little everyday”

It’s a fallacy that bad businesses thrive for long. It is against the nature of the universe. Most successful businesses, I’d argue, provide ample growth for their clients and their employees. Any outliers will soon find themselves washed away by the evolution of man. As we grow, we will tolerate these restrictive, greedy, companies less and less.

Greed, for now, is good. But anything that stands long will share in the advancement of all humanity.
