“It is not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is right”

Damn this looks amazing.

nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s open source your website so that I can give it some flexbox magic please 🙏😅

Rate limits on #X are hurting the platform more than helping. It shocks me how little interest I have in using it.

But first it must allow us to see who liked, commented, interacted with a post without clicking on it. Why is this feature still missing from #nostr clients?

The older I get the more blown away I am that anyone posts with their real name and not a pseudonym. #X is just a way for people to put targets on their head. Whether you’re left leaning, right leaning, there’s someone categorizing you. It could be your co worker, your boss, your girlfriend/boyfriend. Anonymity is the ONLY way to go. Thank god for #nostr

I don’t understand the bottleneck. Where is it slow and where is it compute intensive? On the individual relays? On the clients.?

Took a break from #nostr and I have to say that I missed it dearly. My only issue with it is that it’s hard to see engagement. Not just how many people viewed, but how many people liked or commented. I am otherwise excited for its future.

As much trash as most of it is.. Reddit. There are still great niche communities.

nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s do you know why reactions don’t load on most post until I click on the post? Is this a problem with nostr?

To be simple and approachable for beginners outside of exchanges. If beginners can’t use it anonymously I don’t see them appreciating it entirely.

How come #plebstr and #damus both have a hard time showing the quantity of reactions until I open the post or until I click “reactions”?

Is this a foundational problem with #nostr and how the relays work?

If that even tastes half as good as it looks I’d be tantalized.

Degeneracy.

I have encountered this issue in the past when coming across disturbing screenshots of kids' home pages on YouTube. It astonishes me the type of content that people are willing to consume. Equally astonishing is the fact that some parents provide their children with unrestricted access to any form of social media.
